On November 1, 1972, the concert-documentary film 'Elvis on Tour' opened to the public peaking at #13 and later winning a Golden Globe award for 'Best Documentary Film'.
As part of the 40th anniversary of the film's release and production, Elvis Presley Enterprises produced the first-ever e-book covering the monumental concert tour that resulted in the award-winning film. In April of 1972, MGM filmed Elvis in a Hollywood recording studio and then on and off stage during his 15-city concert tour. This week's exclusive artifact features a full-page ad placed in 'Rolling Stone' magazine on November 9, 1972. The ad features a photo of Elvis along with a description of the concert plus favorable quotes from the 'The New Yorker', 'The New York Times' and 'Rolling Stone'.

The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying : Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people. Highly recommended.
