Elvis is in Miami for the taping of the Frank Sinatra TV Special.

Above a rare photo of Elvis in his hotel in Miami, while getting out of an elevator. From March 22nd until the 29th 1960 Elvis stayed at the penthouse of Miami's Fountainebleau Hotel with Joe Esposito, Lamar Fike, Gene Smith and Cliff Gleaves. The reason why he was staying there, was the taping for the 'Frank Sinatra Timex Show.' During the first week, Elvis attends the rehearsels and the next weekend, on Saturday the 26th, the show' is taped. The 'Frank Sinatra Timex Show'/'Welcome Home, Elvis' will air on May 12th 1960.

In this special show, Elvis sings along with the opening number 'It's Nice to Go Traveling', he also brings two songs from his new single; 'Fame and Fortune' & 'Stuck on You'. Further on in the show we can enjoy a duet by Elvis and Frank of 'Witchcraft' and 'Love Me Tender'. He will leave the hotel on March 29th. Colonel Parker is concerned about the mounting expenses and hires a bus to carry the group back to Memphis.
